Investigation on "light vector expressed by electricity vector"
    . 2013, 32(6):  1-1.
    Abstract ( 724 )   PDF (986KB) ( 331 )

The origin for "the tight vector can be expressed by electricity vector under the normal case" in op- tical textbooks is discussed. The analysis shows that the optical rotation phenomena and the light vector of negative refractive index media can not be expressed fully by the electricity vector. We still point out that the basic connotation of the concept shauld be developed with the development of the discipline.

    Abstract ( 673 )   PDF (265KB) ( 289 )

We extend a simple exercise in a textbook and find rich physical information by studying nonlinear effect of the system under consideration. The non-typical beat phenomenon and the abrupt change in tension are the most noteworthy results. We analyze these results, investigate the factors that lead to them and point out the drawbacks of the original model through simulating calculations.

"Guide to Astronomy" is a professionally basal course for lower undergraduate students in the department of astronomy and for upper-class ones in the department of physics of Beijing Normal University to study general and systematic knowledge and some progress on astronomy. As a national top quality course, the innovation has been made in teaching contents and methods and the sparkling teaching achievement has also been produced during the recent years. However, the perfect evaluation system on study and examination associated with them is not build. According to small class in department of astronomy and large one in department of physics, some present contents and methods of evaluation system on study and examination are respectively introduced. In addition, the teaching assumptions are designed to continue to build the evaluation system during the application of teaching.
