The ratio of the change of energy (barfing cold energy) from the work of generalized force done to the system and the variation of generalized coordinate of system is defined as the microcosmic Gruneisen coefficient. The differential equation for calculating statistical average value of this coefficient is obtained. The result is in agreement with other methods.

Two solutions of correlation function of entangled photon pair in quantum optics are introduced. The first method uses the commutation relation of raising and lowering operator; the second method is called the second quantization. For the latter, one does not need to use any commutation relation, thus it is very convenient.

The rotational inertia of an arbitrary polygonal uniform rigid sheet around an arbitrary diagonal is simply expressed by using the description of its mass, lengths of side and diagonal. This is in terms of the formula of rotational inertia of a triangular around the side and the parallel axis of the side.

The model of forced and damped transverse oscillation of a symmetric double-spring oscillator is designed and its dynamical equation is proposed. By using the method of linear stability analysis, the stability of the system is discussed in the neighborhood of the equilibrium point. The character of the solution can be obtained by numerical simulation and other analysis methods. Time-series diagram, phase diagram and bifurcation diagram for the oscillation of this system are plotted. These results show that there are various kinds of dynamical phenomena. Theoretical analysis is in agreement with numerical simulation.

Some experiments for the periodical leakage flow of small hole are performed. It is found that the forming of periodical leakage flow of small hole is not only related to the concentration, viscosity and compatibility of the liquid in the inner and exterior vessel, but also related to the crevice between the inner and exterior vessel. The change of the period is not only related to the density of the liquid in the inner and exterior vessel and the diameter of little hole, but also related to the diameter of the inner and exterior vessel.

This paper introduces a self-made instrument, which is used to accurately determine the viscosity coefficient of liquid by the flow rate method. Our self - made measuring instrument could ensure effectively the product with a good leak - proof quality on the bottom board and the operability to control the height of the liquid keep with the steady flow. Moreover, we additionally build a glass joint implement, and attach a scale and vernier, which improves the accuracy of measurement. With the photoelectric timing at the graduated cylinder connected with the capillary tube, the flow measurement accuracy is greatly improved. Then, the relevant data into the procedures have been calculated properly and electronic devices demonstrate viscosity. In addition, another design can be swapped for different diametric capillary tubes. Consequently, this method can be applied quickly and accurately to determine a variety of liquid viscosities.

Half-wave voltage is an importance physical quantity that figures to how voltage influences phasic difference in the electro-optic modulation. Exemplifying LiNbO3 crystal transverse electro-optic modulation, this paper analyzes physical signification of the half-wave voltage and discusses the relation between the deferent optic intensity and the adscititious voltage. Three metrical methods such as optical communication stimulant, extremal measure, and frequency doubling modulation are introduced. Two ways to improve the linear modulation are proposed and an application of electro-optic switch is referred.

This article introduces the successful experiences of physical teaching in building a high-quality curriculum in Tongji University. For implementing the basic teaching principle of "student-centered", the teachers in physics group put forward a teaching concept of "environmental infiltration" and have established a laboratory for exploring physics and a physics network for assisted instruction. Taking the classroom teaching as a main channel, we carry out a variety of educational activities, and form a teaching mode of "the combination of classroom teaching and extracurricular", "the combination of theory and practice", and "the combination of teaching and education". After years of practice, good results have been achieved. Students are of interest to physics and have published a number of high-level papers and works. The comprehensive capacity and quality of the students are increased.

According to the two-dimensional Tyson model based on FKN mechanism, we study the forming process of target wave and spiral wave by using the differential method. It is found from our simulation that there is a defect in the center of spiral waves, which dominates the dynamics of spiral waves. In experiments, a spiral pair is initiated by cutting out a target wave. The single spiral wave and broken spiral wave are also observed. The experimental results are in agreement with the simulations. The Belousov-Zhabotinsky reaction should be a part of nonlinear experiment course in order to enrich the experiments of spatio-temporal dynamics.
