金属纳米球颗粒的非局域等效电磁参数

The nonlocal equivalent electromagnetic parameters of the metallic nanosphere particle

摘要: 基于电磁散射理论,利用散射等效原理,将具有空间色散(非局域)介电特性的金属纳米球颗粒转换成无空间色散(局域)介电特性的颗粒,并得到其等效介电常量和等效磁导率.结合实例,发现由于金属纳米球颗粒内部纵模电场的存在,在这两种情况下的电磁参数存在差异,且在低频段现象尤为明显.

Abstract: Based on the electromagnetic scattering theory and the equivalent principle for the electromagnetic scattering, we transform the metallic nanosphere particle with the permittivity properties including spatial dispersion (or nonlocal effect) into that in the local case without spatial dispersion, and further obtain the equivalent permittivity and permeability for the metallic nanosphere particle with spatial dispersion. Finally, with a concrete example, it is found that because of the existence of the longitudinal mode field inside the metallic nanosphere particle, there are the differences for the electromagnetic parameters between both above cases, which is especially obvious in the low-frequency region.
