摘要: 利用惠更斯作图法推导了光轴在入射面内的负单轴晶体e光全反射角公式i=arcsin 1/n√(no^2-nc^2)cos^2a+n^c2,并运用该公式设计和改进格兰-汤姆孙偏振棱镜.研究表明,当光轴垂直于分界面且θ=26°时,所设计的改进型格兰-汤姆孙偏振棱镜用料最省.

Abstract: Use Huygens principle the extraordinary light total reflection angle formula of negative uniaxial crystal for the optical axis in incidence plane i = arcsin 1/n√(no^2-nc^2)cos^2a+n^c2is deduced, and this formula is applied to design and improve Glan-Thompson polarizing prism which is the most economical in consumption of materals as the optical axis is vertical to the interface and θ=26°.
