摘要

利用离散偶极子近似和电静态近似的方法研究了具有代表性的椭球体、圆柱体、立方体和其余5 种形状介质粒子的 吸收效率因子或内部电场,计算了外电场沿不同方向时粒子的退极化因子,阐明了得到任意形状粒子的退极化因子的简易方 法.该计算结果可以加深学生对介质形状和退极化场大小关系的理解,并对介质的退极化因子的研究提供一定的参考.

Abstract

The scattering efficiency factors or internal electric fields of the representative ellipsoid,cylinder, cube and other five kinds of particle shapes are investigated by discrete dipole approximation and electrostatic approximation methods,and the depolarization factors under external electric field in different directions are calculated. Furthermore,a simple method to obtain the depolarization factor of a dielectric particle in different shape is given. The results can help students understand the relationship between the shape of medium and the intensity of depolarization field,and it also provides some references for the study of depolarization factor.
