摘要

量子信息学是物理学的一个新兴分支学科,它将微观世界的量子态用作信息的载体,利用量子力学规律对信息进行传输和计算,可以完成经典信息技术所不能完成的任务.量子信息学主要包含量子通信和量子计算,量子通信已经走向产业化,量子计算也正在逐步走出实验室,它们将共同引领下一代信息技术革命.新兴的量子信息产业可为物理学专业毕业生提供更多的就业机会.

Abstract

The quantum information science is a new branch of physics which uses quantum states to carry information, and uses quantum mechanics to transmit and compute information. The quantum information technology can accomplish tasks that classical information technology can not accomplish. The quantum information science includes quantum communication and quantum computing. The quantum communication has entered the industry,and quantum computing also comes out of laboratories. The emerging quantum information industry will lead the next information revolution,and can provide more employment opportunities for graduates from physics.
