摘要

本文介绍了一种快速寻找棍状物体质心的方法.通过两根手指在棍状物体上缓慢移动,在支持力与摩擦力的调节下,可以便捷地找到棍状物体的质心位置.利用从笔中抽象出来的理想模型,本文由简到难地逐步分析了该方法的物理原理.通过半定量的实验,与传统的寻找质心的方法比较,本文阐述了该方法的优缺点.该方法及其原理在教学、科普、生活、生产等方面具有一定的应用价值.

Abstract

This article introduces a simple method of locating the centroid of the stick-like object. By supporting the object with two fingers at each end and slowly moving them towards each other, the position of the centroid will be revealed under the works of supporting and frictional forces. The article starts with the ideal model abstracted from a pen and presents additional analysis of the physical principle in the progress. Through semi-quantitative experiments, compared with some traditional methods to find the centroid, this article illustrates the advantages and disadvantages of the new method. The principle of this method has certain application value in teaching, popularization of science, life and production.
