摘要

本文采用谐振子模型具体分析分子力的起源,发现非极性分子的相互作用源自量子效应,极性分子的相互作用包括经典和量子效应两部分,其中经典相互作用并非通常的电偶极作用:一方面它按1R6衰减,另一方面,相互作用能正比于电偶极矩的平方,尤其是,即便其中一个分子的偶极矩为零也有贡献.它的出现本质上是经典的电四极矩相互作用.

Abstract

This paper employs the harmonic oscillator model to investigate the origins of inter-molecule potential. We find the interaction between non-polar molecules comes from the quantum effect, while the interaction between polar molecule includes both classical and quantum parts. The classical interaction is not the usual dipolar interaction: on the one hand, it decreases with the distance as 1R6; on the other hand, the interaction energy is proportional to the square of electric moment. Furthermore, the interaction exists even when one of the molecule has zero dipole moment. The appearance of this kind of potential is essentially due to the electric quadrupole moment.
