Abstract: Eigenvalues of one-dimensional and two-dimensional nonlinear harmonic oscillators are computed by using the parameter perturbation method. The calculated first-level approximate results are shown to be significantly superior to the corresponding first-level and even higher-level results obtained from the parameter-free perturbation method.
