Abstract: If a high voltage is applied to a fluid（e, g. deionized water）in two beakers,which are in contact, a fluid bridge may be formed. The formation and stability of the bridge are researched. The various bridges formed with different liquids are investigated. With the help of the Bernoulli equation involving the work of electric force, the mass transfer of the liquid through the bridge is analyzed and researched experimentally
