Abstract: Based on quantum geometric phase （also called Berry phase）, a new kind of fiber polarization rotator is proposed. According to this idea, a fiber polarization rotator is fabricated and the changed angles of the polarized plane of light is measnred. The experimental results agree qualitatively with the theoretical prediction. A phenomenological formula is given to understand the errors between the experimental data and the theory.
