Abstract: The algebra equations for light refraction in general curved faces with mutation refractivity in two sides are given based on the light-ray equation of geometrical optics. The problems about focus and focal length of spheric faces are discussed and simulated with computer. This method is helpful for teaching and comprehending the light behavior in geometrical optics.
Key words: lightray equation, mutation refractivity, interface algebra equation, computer simulation
