Abstract: On the base of electrical image process to a dielectric cylinder, the electric field of both a line charge and a dielectric cylinder is calculated, and the distributions of electric potential and field intensity are obtained. Both the equipotential line and electric field line map are plotted by mathematical software ＂MATLAB＂
