Abstract: Inspired by the optical Fresnel zone plate，we improve，design and fabricate ultrasound Fresnel zone plates based on diffraction theory，make them adapt for focusing acoustic waves. The simple - structure and low - cost invention can be an ideal candidate for a series of applications in ultrasonic imaging with the advantages of great amplification and wide frequency range.
