Abstract: The displacement of a test bench is measured by using a sensor with differential variable area and a digital oscilloscope. The better fitting degree is obtained and the damping factor, vibration frequency and other parameters are calculated from the data fitting with the damped vibration equation, which are also compared with the parameters obtained from the fitting data of the amplitude-time curve.
