The Michelson interferometer is a common configuration for optical interferometry and has been employed in many scientific experiments. The principle of the autocorrelator based on Michelson interferometer configuration for interference autocorrelation measurement of ultrashort laser pulses is analyzed. An autocorrelator is constructed and the experiments are carried out. Good experimental results have been obtained.
