Abstract

This paper utilizes the Michelson interference to research the characteristics of the He -Ne laser. Combining the Fabry-Perot scanning interferometer and a Michelson interference experiment research,we analysis the polarization state of He-Ne laser's modes and the characteristics of frequency drift of He-Ne laser. We explain the spontaneous changes which observed in brightness and image of interference ring by theoretical derivation. Therefore,we have better comprehension on the characteristics of the multiple longitudinal-mode of the He-Ne laser.
