Abstract

In this work, the moments of inertia JF (JO) about an axis through its foci (centroid) and perpendicular to the plane of the elliptical ring and elliptical plate are calculated in polar coordinates. Furthermore, the dependence of moment of inertia JF (JO) on eccentricity e for elliptical ring and elliptical plate is also studied.
