The transverse vibration of circular plate is discussed from the point of view of equations of mathematical physics. The mistakes of the boundary conditions at the center of circle appeared in the existing literature are analyzed carefully． New boundary conditions are proposed and their reasonability is discussed from the calculus ofvariations．
