Based on a comprehensive collection of Chen Shigangs academic papers and monographs spanning over half a century (1960~2013), this article categorizes his publications according to research areas. Combined with the historical background, The paper analyzed in detail the changes of Chen Shigangs scientific research interests in different periods, and demonstrated the main scientific achievements and contributions of his research for more than 50 years. Furthermore, through examining research grant projects he led, scientific journals on whose editorial boards he served, and his academic collaborations and exchanges, this study delineates the holistic landscape of his academic life, and clearly show his personal academic system and style.
