铥离子(Tm^3+)能级标注浅议

摘要: 铥离子具有丰富的能级结构,可以形成不同的激光振荡.在查阅文献的过程中,作者发现铥离子能级标注非常混乱.本文首先举例说明了标注混乱的原因,然后利用同科电子合成的方法得出了铥离子能级标注中的各光谱项,最后给出了几点建议.

Abstract: Research on Tm^3+-doped lasers has attracted many interests since the Tm^3+ ions have plenty energy levels. The author noticed that the literature is largely confused concerning the designation of energy levels for Tm^3+ ions. The reason for this confusion is presented firstly by illustrating some examples, and then the spectral terms of equivalent electrons'system in L -S coupling are calculated for Tm^3+ ions. At last, a suggestion is given that consistency of atomic states for Tm^3+ ions should be hold.
