摘要: 通过对法拉第磁光效应实验中倍频现象的研究,指出了部分教材中关于倍频位置描述的疏漏,原因是由于其数学推导过程不严密,定义了“偏振夹角”-θ0,并通过数学推导和实验分析证明了θ0为0和π/2时会产生倍频现象.

Abstract: By studying on the double frequency phenomenon in Faraday effect experiment, the incompleteness of a few textbooks' description on the location of this phenomenon is pointed out, and such incompleteness is the result of careless mathematical derivation. The polarization intersection angel θ0 is defined, and by mathematical analysis as well as experimental analysis, it is proved that the double frequency phenomenon can be produced when θ0 is equal to 0 or π/2.
