摘要: 用自制的两个塑料闪烁探测器进行符合,选用90Sr-90Yβ放射源,测量了β射线在空气中的平均速度,经过Casino软件进行能量损失修正后的值与理论计算值进行对比,两者较为符合.本实验为β射线的速度理论值提供了可靠的实验验证,说明本文的测量设备和实验方法是可行的,此方法能够用于测量β射线在空气中的速度.

Abstract: The speed of β-ray in the air is measured by the coincidence of two plastic scintillator detectors using 90Sr-90Y β source.A comparison between theoretical value and the experimental value revised by Casino software considering energy loss is presented.It is shown that the two values are in agreement with each other well.The result provides an experimental evidence for theoretical values of β-ray speed,and it is proved that our equipment and experimental design are effective.
