Abstract: The fusion power is one of the uhimate dreams of human kind. In near sixty years of fusion research, many great leap-forwards have been achieved, but severe challenges also linger. This article introduces the concept of fusion power, mainstream fusion researches, a brief history of fusion research, major challenges, recent progresses, perspective of fusion power in this century, and the revolution of human society once it comes true.
