氦原子的基态波函数和库仑关联效应

摘要: 通过比较基态氦原子的Hylleraas波函数与Roothaan-Hartree-Fock波函数和组态相互作用波函数的差异,利用图示的方法说明了Hylleraas波函数之所以精确原因在于其对电子之间库仑关联效应的正确描写,对Hylleraas波函数的分析表明库仑关联使两个电子倾向于出现在原子核的两边,据此提出的—个氦原子运动的简单模型也给出与实验吻合的基态能量.

Abstract: By comparing the differences between the Roothaan-Hartree-Fock function, configuration interaction wave function and Hylleraas-type wave function of Helium ground state, we present intuitive figures to show the reason why Hylleraas-type wave function is more accurate than the others is that it reflects the Coulomb correlation between electrons correctly. A careful analysis of Hylleraas function indicates that Coulomb correlation tends to make the two electrons on the opposite side of nucleus; a simple model of Helium is proposed accordingly which can produce the ground state energy agreement with the experiment.
