构建适合本科教学的原子光学课程

Construction of atom optics curriculum for the undergraduate teaching

摘要: 随着激光冷却与俘陷原子技术的发展,人们对冷原子的物理性能、冷原子与物理相互作用、冷原子的操纵及其应用等展开了一系列的研究,并以相关实验和理论形成了一个全新的物理学研究领域——原子光学.然而作为近现代物理学的重要组成部分,原子光学并没有系统地介绍给理工科尤其是物理学及其相关本科专业的学生.在本文中,首先简单回顾了原子光学的发展历程,分析了开设原子光学本科教学的必要性.结合普通高校本科教学要求,构建了原子光学本科教学内容体系,对教学实施进行了讨论和建议.

Abstract: With the development of laser cooling and trapping atoms techniques,atom optics,a new filed in physics,has gradually come into being based on the researches on properties of the cold atoms,interaction between the cold atoms and matters,the manipulation of the cold atoms and their application.However,atom optics has not been systematically introduced to the undergraduates majoring in physics and the other involved sciences as an important part of the modern physics.In this paper,we first brief the development of atom optics and analyzed the necessity to construct this curriculum for undergraduates.Subsequently,the teaching contents of atom optics and the corresponding teaching plans are suggested and discussed according to the teaching requirements of colleges and universitses for undergraduates.
