基于玻璃片的偏振光路的研究

摘要: 为解决激光偏振光能量利用率低的问题,利用布儒斯特原理设计了一个简单的获取偏振光的实验光路.通过玻璃片将非偏振光分束,使产生的s偏振光经晶体旋光至与p偏振光平行,再通过偏振片进入探测系统.给出了在该系统下玻璃片数m与系统参数的关系,计算了在使用不同型号玻璃下的光能利用率最大时的片数及透光率,同时进行了实验研究.结果表明,在使用普通玻璃情况下偏振光的利用率可以比单纯使用偏振片高10%左右.

Abstract: To increase the utilization of the polarized light, a simple device based on Brewster principle to acquire polarized light has been given in this paper. The natural light is split into two bunches after passing through the pile of glass-plates, of which the s-polarization component is revolved to the direction of p component, and both of them enter the detector in the end. The relationship between glass number m and device parameters is also settled. In the last part, glasses of different types are used to test the calculation of glass numbers and transmittance in the case of the maximum utilization of light. The test shows that the utilization can be increased by 10% through this device.
