电磁波在左手材料中传播的数值仿真

摘要: 借助MATLAB数值模拟了平面电磁波在左手材料介质中的传播,形象生动地展现了电磁波穿过异性介质时电场强度随着传播距离的增加发生衰减的现象,并且对电磁波在左手材料中传播时的能量变化情况做了讨论.在大学物理及电磁学教学中利用电磁波的仿真图像不仅有助于化概念抽象于具体,丰富教学手段,提高课堂教学效果,而且有利于激发学生学习的兴趣,加深对电磁波知识的理解和应用,培养创新意识.

Abstract: The propagation characteristics of plane electromagnetic wave in left handed materials (LHM)are simulated using MATLAB. The numerical results indicate that the intensity of electric field decrease with the in- crease of propagation distance,and the energy attenuates. In the teaching of college physics and electromagnetics, the visualizing abstract concepts of electromagnetic fields can not only help students to understand the application in various fields,but also inspire students interesting and improve the teaching result.
