摘要： 在2012年7月由标准模型预言的Higgs粒子发现之后,随即牛津大学出版了英国著名科普作家Jim Baggott的《HIGGS》一书.基于《HIGGS》在Higgs粒子发现之后能够迅速的被认可和出版,并且为了将这本书向广大读者推广,笔者在本文中介绍了该书的主要内容、主要特色,并给出了几点评论,以便能够引导读者更好的品读此书.

Abstract: In July 7,2012,after the Higgs particle which the standard model predicts was discovered,the Oxford university immediately published 《HIGGS》of Jim Baggott,the famous science writer in Britain. Based on《HIGGS》that can be accepted and published promptly after the Higgs particle was discovered,what is more,in order to generalize it to the reading public,we introduce the major contents,features and give some comments so as to guide the readers taste the book better.
