Discussion on the teaching of thermodynamic properties of the rubber band

Abstract:  Based on the first and second laws of thermodynamics and Maxwell relation, the thermodynamic properties of the rubber bands are systematically discussed. We also briefly introduce the micro-model of the rubber band elasticity. These methods and conclusions will help students to better understand and master the basic knowledge and methods of thermodynamics, and also avail students to test the correctness of these conclusions by the experiments designed by themselves
