Abstract: The velocity, acceleration and time of a particle sliding down along a horizontally free concave surface are discussed. And correlative formulas are deduced. Detailed calculations are done for several typical examples, in which the intersection line between the concave surface and the motion plane of the particle are straight line parabola, and ellipse, respectively.
