Abstract: According to the method of images, the "image charges" of a uniformly charged ring in a conducting sphere are studied. In spherical coordinate system, based on the electric formula and Taylor series expansion, the electric field distribution of the ring is obtained in a series form, then combined the uniqueness theorem and the superposition principle, the electric field distribution of this system are derived.
