Abstract: By analyzing the relationship between the distance of shot put flying and its influential factors which is based on sliding shot put, the influence is discussed in details that the independent mechanical variables, which determine the distance of shot put flying, effect the distance of shot put flying; at the same time the right physical meaning of optimum angle out of strength and some significant conclusions are pointed out.
