Abstract: The ratio of the change of energy (barfing cold energy) from the work of generalized force done to the system and the variation of generalized coordinate of system is defined as the microcosmic Gruneisen coefficient. The differential equation for calculating statistical average value of this coefficient is obtained. The result is in agreement with other methods.
