Research and practice on the ultrasonic Doppler effect experimental system based on digital storage oscilloscope

Abstract: An ultrasonic Doppler effect experimental system based on the digital storage oscilloscope is intro- duced. This system uses the existing ultrasonic sound velocity measurement equipment. With the shift signal pro- cessing circuits and digital storage oscilloscope as the data measurement unit core, and through coordinating with the system base and the movement control unit, a number of integrating and designing experiments related to the Doppler effect can be carried out. The students' understanding to Doppler effect and it's application can be deep- ened. The conversion, transmission and processing of signals in the experiment are clear and transparent, which will help in-depth to train students' abilities in autonomous practical and observing and analyzing problems. With- out complex software programming, the experimental system is simple and every laboratory can complete it on their own production, at the same time, the experiments can realize the sharing of resources, improve the equipments' utilization with higher value of practical utility and promotion.
