Abstract: We have tried to prove and show that magnetic flelds do have put repellent force on ＂nonmagnetic＂materials such as graphite and copper.In our experiment,we have tried several permanent arrays,and finally found a four-block permanent magnet array to produce a gradient field,and get the stable regions for levitation above the permanent magnets.We successfully make graphite to be levitated.We also use the paramagnetic solution and electromagnet to realize more obvious levitation for Al2O3 and Si.
