Abstract: The analytical configurationinteraction calculation for the ground state of Helium is performed over two con figuration states：ls2 and ls2s.The results show that a 0.02938 Hartree correction to the ground state energy is obtained by add i ng ls2s configuration state.This calcu lation is suitable for the course of undergraduate quantum mechanics.
