Abstract: Hierarchical teaching and curriculum arrangements for physics education in American university are introduced and discussed in detail with MIT,Yale,and Stanford as the examples.The detailed and substantial content will make readers know deeply about physics education of American university.Those will also contribute to the reform in college physics education in China.
