Abstract: Based on introduction about exploring cosmos from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, taking the World Wide Telescope （WWT） for example, practice and research on astronomy education based on real data in astronomy curriculum of Central China Normal University are discussed. How the WWT provides a rich resource environ- ment, WWT is an ideal information processing, research and development tool.
