Abstract: This paper compare the curriculum goals, theoretical basis and teaching strategy, course forms, research results of two different types of college physics tutorials model at the University of Sydney, Workshop Tutorials and Map Meetings. It is shown that they are all based constructive learning theory, Map Meetings also based theory of cognitive load and multimedia learning. They have its own characteristics. Map Meetings is more popular with students, and more helpful for students who physics is poor. Whereas ,Workshop Tutorials highlights the interaction of students.
