Abstract: Based on the elementary concepts of quantum mechanics, the combined effects of a nonuniform magnetic field and a vertical electric field on the Landau levels in AA-stacked bilayer graphite are investigated within the symmetric gauge by means of special function theory. The results show that the Landau levels in this system are high degenerate quantization, especially at the Dirac points. Furthermore, the accidental degeneracy of zero-energy states can be effectively modulated by the interlayer bias voltage.
