Abstract: The limitation of the description of flywheel precession and formula of precession angular calculation in textbooks of college physics and mechanics are introduced. Theoretical analysis and numerical calculation of flywheel rotation around fixed point are conducted acccording to the Euler equation of motion. The general rule of flywheel nutation,precession and spin is provided for understanding of precession concept.
