Abstract: The Green function of the Poisson equation is usually obtained from the Gauss＇ s theorem. Another way to get the Green function is presented by directly integrating its Fourier transformation expression. Appropriate regularization methods need to be chosen in the integration.A wrong regularization method is pointed out, while acorrect method is given.
