Abstract: A new approach is proposed for extending the De Broglie matter wave to relativistic formalism.The relativistic matter wave expression is obtained and applied successfully to explain the Aharonov-Bohm effect.The fine structure in the hydrogen energy levels is calculated，which is in well agreement with experiments and in accordance with the prediction of other quantum theories of the subjects considered.
