Abstract: By introducing the coordinate in the ms、ml coordinate system for the same group of electrons,the method of determining atomic（ionic） ground state with the electron coordinate is proposed and some examples are given.It is shown that the present method in comparison with old one has many distinct advantages such as clear principle,convenient use,easy grasp and correct answer.The results determining atomic（ionic） ground states for elements of 103 kinds are well in agreement with the reference [7].
