Abstract: The stretch method for measuring Young＇ s elasticity modulus of wire is a basic experiment of mechanics, but the present instrument is difficult to meet the teaching demand. We present an innovative method and develop the new instrument by using minilaser instead of telescope, which can greatly improve the accuracy of determination measurement and make operation become easy. It is shown that the instrument has favorable teaching effect.
