The dual symmetry and transformations in classical electromagnetic theory are reviewed. Then the dual relation between the Aharonov-Casher and He-McKellar-Wilkens topological phases related to the electromagnetic interaction is discussed. Finally, we provide the general Lagrangian for the Aharonov-Casher and He- McKellar-Wilkens topological phases and construct a model independent dual relation between the Aharonov-Casher and He-McKellar-Wilkens topological phases by assuming that the electromagnetic interaction with magnetic monopole violates parity symmetry hut consistent with the relativity.

A non-parallel'plate capacitor is transformed to a parallel-plate capacitor by the conformal mapping method, and the capacitance of capacitor involving edge-effects is calculated by the use of Schwarz-Christoffel transformation. The influence on capacitance of inclined angle and edge-effect is discussed.

Some results has already been obtained in the study of equivalent resistance of regularly connected polygon resistance network, but the border equivalent resistance still lacks research on parameter value (resistance or capacitor). By analyzing the network and constructing a model based on differential equation, we get a laconic general formula of equivalent resistance or capacitor of enhanced polygon network. The polygon concept arriving two sides structure of the non-Euclid space is also expanded, and the results are compared with connected argument. The conclusion is also suit to some regularly connected polygon impedance networks.

The stretch method for measuring Young' s elasticity modulus of wire is a basic experiment of mechanics, but the present instrument is difficult to meet the teaching demand. We present an innovative method and develop the new instrument by using minilaser instead of telescope, which can greatly improve the accuracy of determination measurement and make operation become easy. It is shown that the instrument has favorable teaching effect.

For the lack of experiment of the present " centripetal force demonstrator", we improve the quantitative analysis show of the centripetal force of the electric instrument. The new instrument retains the centripetal force demonstrator part of the electric components, measures and improves the turning radius of the centripetal force measuring device. By changing the motor speed, the radius of circular motion, balls and other quality parameters of the device can be studied qualitatively and quantitatively.
