Abstract: Based on the learning idea of penetrative teaching and spiral developing, the traditional atomic physics course is converted into the new concept quantum physics, which is connected with the following course of quantum mechanics. According to the response of students of this practice, the new course is beneficial to promote students＇ studying interest on quantum physics, and to strengthen the understanding to the basic theory of quantum physics. The new course has good suitability to most students.
