Abstract: Starting from the Gibbs ensemble theory, we derive the canonical distribution function and energy fluctuation formula for two-dimensional and three-dimensional mechanic systems that consist of arbitrary number and different masses of rigid particles. The results of our computer simulation are in agreement with the theory.
