Ideological and political exploration of college physics  curriculum based on the cultivation of scientific cognitive ability — taking polarization of light as an example

摘要: 本文以光的偏振为例介绍基于物理过程的研讨式大学物理课堂教学和课程思政模式,探索以科学认知能力培养为核心的大学物理课程思政策略. 以偏振现象为引线探究其物理原理,进而给出光的偏振相关理论知识,最后拓展偏振器件、偏振光天文罗盘等方面的应用,以及中国天眼对偏振光的观测等科技前沿. 整个教学过程符合科学认知的顺序,在潜移默化中培养学生科学思维和科学研究的能力,体现出理工类大学物理课程思政的核心.

Abstract:  Taking polarization of light as an example, the discussion on teaching of college physics course and ideological and political mode based on physical process is introduced, and the ideological and political strategy of college physics curriculum with the cultivation of scientific cognitive ability as the core are explored. Taking polarization phenomenon as the lead, its physical principle is explored, and then the related theoretical knowledge of light polarization is given. Finally, it expands the applications of polarizing devices and astronomical compasses of polarized light, as well as the application of scientific and technological frontiers such as the observation of polarized light by FAST. The whole teaching process accords with the order of scientific cognition, cultivating students- ability of scientific thinking and scientific research in imperceptible way, reflects the core of ideological and political education in physics courses of science and technology universities.
